Welcome to SALVIO. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website salvioapp.com and the SALVIO mobile application (collectively, the "Service"), provided by Elysian Ideas LLC ("we," "our," or “us").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Account Registration

  • Mandatory Registration: Access to the Service requires creating a user account. You agree to provide accurate information, including your name, email address, and country of residence.

  • Credentials: You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including Firebase, Google, or Apple authentication states.

  • Account Deletion: You have the right to delete your account at any time through the in-app settings. Deleting your app account permanently erases your personal profile from our databases, but it does not automatically cancel active App Store or Google Play subscriptions

2. Premium Subscriptions & Billing

  • Native Storefront Processing: All premium tiers and digital subscriptions ("Salvio Premium") are processed exclusively via Apple In-App Purchases (StoreKit 2) or Google Play Billing. We do not process or store credit card details on our servers.

  • Billing Cycles: Subscriptions automatically renew on a monthly or yearly basis depending on your selection. All cancellations must be managed directly through your respective Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

3. Geolocation Services & Third-Party APIs

  • Foreground Tracking Only: The Service utilizes your mobile device's GPS capabilities strictly while the app is open and in use (foreground tracking) to display safety heatmaps, incidents, and route navigation.

  • Third-Party Maps: By using our mapping infrastructure, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the respective terms of our mapping partners, including the Mapbox Terms of Service and Google Maps/Google Places Additional Terms of Service.

4. Disclaimer of Risk and Liability (Critical Travel Notice)

  • Information Only: SALVIO provides safety indices, crime heatmaps, and community reports aggregated by our backend API for general informational and navigational guidance purposes only.

  • No Safety Guarantee: While we strive for accuracy, Elysian Ideas LLC does not guarantee that the safety metrics or regional hazard updates are error-free, real-time, or exhaustive. SALVIO is not a replacement for local law enforcement, emergency services, or professional security advice.

  • Assumption of Risk: You assume all responsibility and risk for your personal safety while traveling. Elysian Ideas LLC, its owners, and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, injuries, or losses resulting from your reliance on the app's safety data.
