  • Account Registration Data: Because access to SALVIO requires a user account, we collect your full name, email address, country of residence, and individual travel preferences during the registration process.

  • Social Authentication Data: If you choose to log in using third-party single sign-on services, we collect data authorized by those providers:

    • Continue with Google: We receive your Google profile name and verified email address.

    • Sign in with Apple: We receive your Apple account identifier and email address (or an Apple-generated anonymous email relay if you choose to hide your email).

  • Foreground Geolocation Data: We request access to precise location-based information from your mobile device only while you are actively using our mobile application (foreground tracking) to map nearby hazards and calculate localized safety metrics. We do not track your location when the app is closed or locked. Granting location permission is entirely voluntary; if denied, you can still access the Service by manually searching for cities or destinations via the search interface.

  • Mobile Device Information: Device identifiers (such as IP address, hardware model, and operating system version) and app performance logs when you interact with the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information collected about you to maintain a high level of travel safety proficiency and security:

  • To generate and deliver real-time safety metrics and regional hazard guidance tailored to your foreground location.

  • To manage your user account, remember your travel preferences, and verify your access permissions.

  • To improve app performance, troubleshoot infrastructure crashes, and optimize technical routing.

3. Disclosure and Processing of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. To render our travel metrics and safety calculations, the Service securely processes data hooks with the following infrastructure providers and data APIs:

  • Salvio Proprietary Backend: Your account data and community incident reports are hosted on our secure MongoDB cloud database servers to generate localized safety indexes.

  • Mapbox API & OpenStreetMap: Used to render your real-time visual map displays, route directions, and map localized infrastructure assets like streetlights and emergency hubs.

  • Google Places API: Used strictly to allow you to search destination addresses and locate nearby emergency safety hubs.

  • TomTom Traffic API: Used to fetch real-time traffic data, road hazards, and localized travel accident data.

  • OpenWeatherMap API: Used to evaluate regional weather hazards and extreme weather alerts around your position.

  • Legal Frameworks: We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the vital safety and rights of travelers.

4. Data Security and Technical Tracking

Elysian Ideas LLC implements strict cloud infrastructure safeguards to protect your personal account profile. Our technical tracking footprint is designed around data minimization:

  • Authentication Security Only: We utilize Google Firebase Auth strictly to process secure account logins and social single sign-on credentials.

  • No Behavioral Advertising or Analytics Tracking: The Service does not deploy product analytics tracking SDKs (such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel) and does not monitor your activity across third-party websites or applications for advertising purposes.

  • Diagnostic Logs: We link automated performance frameworks (Firebase Crashlytics) strictly to receive anonymous system crash data to patch application bugs and maintain software stability.

5. In-App Subscriptions and Payments

All premium app billing, digital subscriptions, and payment transactions are processed securely and natively through Apple's native In-App Purchase (IAP) system and Google Play Billing. Elysian Ideas LLC does not collect, handle, or store any credit card information or billing data on our website or within our application servers.

6. App Store Account Deletion Rights

In accordance with Apple and Google storefront rules, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or complete deletion of your personal account data at any time. You can initiate an immediate and permanent account and data deletion directly within the user account settings of the SALVIO application.
